Our Story
Established 2020, Nomatshawe Group was founded by Linda Maqoma in response to a calling of passion and purpose to make an impact in South Africa through business and professional development.
Named to honor the memory and legacy of my late mother who is fondly remembered for her warmth, selflessness and love for the development of others, Nomatshawe represents the power of women as nurturers, problem solvers, innovators, mentors and most importantly leaders.
The cultural flare of the name which originates from the Tshawe clan of the renowned Xhosa Warrior and Leader , Jongumsobomvu Maqoma (Ahh! Jongumsobomvu) aims to be a reminder that our personal and professional growth is best showcased when it is rooted in and celebrates our authentic selves in all that we do not only for ourselves but for the greater good.
